Computational imaging

Compound-eye camera       Compressive imaging       Superposition imaging

Computational imaging (CI) is a cooperative approach of optics and signal processing. In imaging systems based on CI, objects are captured with optical encoding and the original signals of objects are reconstructed by computational decoding. With CI scheme, we can acquire signals which are not acquirable by conventional systems, and we can improve the basic performance of imaging systems drastically. In our laboratory, various imaging systems based on this new imaging scheme have been studied.
